With a 95% prefabrication rate, houses built like building-a-Lego bricks are attracting foreigners to China for shopping sprees. How is this possible?

What does "everything can be a container" mean?

Data centers are two-story structures built from 15 shipping containers; single-person apartments are warm homes constructed from shipping containers; even sewage treatment plants are built using shipping containers as "building blocks."

Modular construction allows over 90% of the construction process to be completed in factories. For example, the Ibis Merchandise Hotel in Perth, Australia, completed in 2019, was built using 252 fully prefabricated modules. Interior decoration and exterior curtain wall assembly were all manufactured at the modular manufacturing base before being transported to Australia.

Given the local conditions, building such a 17-story hotel using traditional methods would take at least 2-3 years, but the modular container houses were completed and delivered on-site in just 4 months.

Modular construction innovates the steel-concrete modular technology system. Because the main structure is steel, the building possesses the stability and durability of traditional concrete buildings, while also offering the advantages of stable quality, reliable performance, and large-scale rapid production capabilities of industrialized products. "It's like 'building blocks,' allowing for free assembly and expansion, reaching up to 40 stories and meeting 50-year permanent building standards."

Erik Hansen, a buyer from Norway, specifically came to purchase this "LEGO-style house." Due to the realities of Norway's sunshine hours and temperature, building a house there often takes several years. In 2019, we provided modular construction for a hotel project. After completing 78 building modules at our manufacturing base in China, they were shipped directly to Norway.

Our next step is to expand into the Middle East and Southeast Asian markets.
